Stanley Cup experience is always a valuable asset that is difficult to find. Getting it to someone who is just 26 years old when the 2011-12 NHL season starts is even more difficult.
The Washington Capitals have managed to find both last Friday when they treated their first-round pick in the 2011 Entry Draft to Chicago for the left wing Troy Brouwer. While his total of 76 points over the last two seasons are strong but not overwhelming, Brouwer will probably be expected to provide some something or found in a Stanley Cup champion.
Part of the Chicago race versatile as 2010, in which Brouwer was able to play a grinding style both offensively and defensively while moving between several lines, he believes he can predict that something is missing that has prevented the Capitals finally have a breakthrough in the playoffs.
