Gothic metal act Moonspell has been tight-lipped about the band's upcoming album and follow-up to 2008's "Night Eternal." The band has now posted a lengthy updated on Facebook regarding the album and the band's recent festival appearances. The new album's initials will be "AN" (no full title has been revealed yet) and it is currently expected to drop in 2012. When one brings up the subject of Christian rock and metal from the early 1980s, the two main bands looked at are, of course, Petra and Stryper, mainly due to their high popularity. Maybe even Resurrection Band, or Rez Band, or REZ...or whatever they're known as to the fan base at the time. Though they weren't the only ones pioneering hard rock and metal with Christian lyrics.
