A friend recently bought a bright blue pair of sneakers. Super! But what to wear with them? She could not jeans, because it is a different shade of blue. She could not do another color, because it would be crazy. So obviously they could not be worn.
My head almost exploded. People are so timid about color mixing. Black can not touch brown and gold can not touch silver and yellow can not touch red. Shoes should match the purse and belt. I even know someone who obsessively match his underwear to his clothing. Like I said, explode.
I understand the hesitation.Nobody wants to look like they rolled up in a fight in a bar with Jackson Pollock. But the colors are one of the most magnificent gifts of nature, and should be embraced. In honor of Pride Week, we'll all relax the rules of color. We have abandoned the myth of white only after Labor Day, so why cling to the other with the clenched fists?

google arygle socks
I think you're having trouble finding them because it's summer. I have two pairs of argyle socks, but I don't remember where I got them from. Wait a few weeks til they start putting out fall clothes, and I'm sure you'll have better luck.
